They say sheep can recognise…

They say sheep can recognise fifty human faces… and now I can safely say I can recognise fifty sheep faces 🙂 So many funny times with Angie’s flocks of Coloured Ryelands, meeting and falling in love with gentle Arthur. When the flock come running for treats and Giz hangs back not bothering to come to you because he knows you’ll come to him. Brocolligate, when Aero broke into the veg patch. Pia coming for a shy, embarrassed hug the day after this first shearing. Rolo & Wispa the two ewe twins who walk around inseparable shoulder to shoulder all the time. Bella cuddling up in my armpit. Lovable Blue who always seems to look slightly more bedraggled than the other sheep. Teaching the sheep to gather on the mound for treats. Watching them take turns scratching themselves on benches and under the belly of the deer statue. Angie, spending time with  your flocks is a privilege, learning each of their personalities and their funny little ways. They are calming and loveable. Thank you.
